Straight from nature to nurture, these beautiful fingerless mitts have been hand knitted in 100% Barnacre Alpaca yarn from three of our walk and talk boys. The cuffs are hand spun in a blend of Grigio and Randall with the main body knitted in Hades. All the fleece has been processed without the use of harsh chemicals.
Barnacre Alpaca yarn is warm, luxuriously soft and strong and hypoallergenic and is 100% natural and fully sustainable from rural Northumberland. Alpacas originate from the Altiplano in South America where the Andes are at their wildest. The temperature there fluctuates from 24°C down to -20°C so you can be sure that your fingers will be protected from the elements in these fantastic gloves.
All Barnacre knitwear comes with full washing instructions and details of the animals who donated their fleece to enable you to follow their progress on the “Meet the Herd” section of our website.
These mitts will be beautifully gift wrapped and posted to you by Royal Mail “first class mail”.
