Aloysius
Description
Aloysius “Alo-is-yus” was a bit of a rescue case! His future was uncertain when his previous owner lost their rented land. He was described as unpredictable and difficult to handle and therefore couldn’t be rehoused with their other boys; he was destined for sausages or euthanasia.
Debbie couldn’t let this happen without giving him one last chance.
He came to Barnacre and was quarantined with a friend (Gaussian) and from that moment proved to be a calm, gentle boy, he allowed us to cut his toe nails and happily walked on his lead. He is now a regular on the Barnacre walk and talks and loves the interaction with his two legged carrot feeding friends!
Only once has he spat at us and that was when his friend Gaussian was choking on a pea and he thought that it was our fault as we massaged the neck of his friend to remove it.
