Sekhmet

Sekhmet

Gender: Female
Colour: Brown
Date of birth: 16th June 2010

Description

Granddaughter to Nefertiti and daughter of Ankhesenanum, Sekhmet “sek-met” is a member of our Egyptian themed line of alpacas. In Egyptian religion she is a goddess of warriors and healing. The later is quite apt as when she was born her leg muscles were quite weak and she couldn’t stand, so sat prone like splat the cat! Friends of Barnacre will also know that Sekhmet is a half sister of Ziyad, who we sadly lost in 2021.
Sekhmet is full of character. If you go in the field you can be sure she’ll be close by either nudging you or having a little nibble of anything that’s hanging off you!
She is currently adopted by Amanda Williams, Vicky Butler, Laura Armstrong, David & Halena Forward, Gabi Vesey, Natalie Lighten, Helen Hudspith and Bilqis Muzaffarr.
