Wyona Sunset Boulevarde is a quite spectacular grey macho bred from the most productive and reliable grey bloodlines in Australia. He arrived in the UK in 2012 and was re-united with his multi-champion half-brother (same sire), Wyona Sunburst. Their meeting was proof, if you need it, of the connections these wonderful animals can have. As soon as they saw each other they turned their tails up and started clucking at each other. Wonderful!

His fleece is incredibly dense and the colour is magical.

Genetics – Includes amazing names: ILR Snowmass Grey Legend, Wyona Mystical Woman, Peruvian Hemmingway, Blue Grass Waterloo Sunset, Jolimont Warrior and Jolimont Conquistador.

Fleece – As a youngster Boulevarde’s medium grey fleece was fantastically even in colour and fine right across his body. Each staple contained bright, evenly crimped fibre and is so dense that you will be quite amazed. The length of fibre growth was impressive at 110mm (5th fleece) producing 3.7kg in 2014. His 12^th fleece in 2021 had a 28.4 micron, 80mm length and a very respectable 3.78kg. His density is retained.

Personality – much like his brother, Sunburst, he is Mr Chilled out and tends to pass this on to his offspring making handling them a pleasure.

Colour – Medium grey and very consistent in colour.

Progeny –58 of which 30 are grey. His offspring have made an impact in the show ring and he has a beautiful grey daughter, Inca Grey Ice Breaker who is a quadruple Champion, including the 2019 National Show. Inca Grey Jameson and Barnacre Jazz are also Champions, the later now standing at stud with Ferny Rigg Alpacas.
