Redens Chieftain

Redens Chieftain

Gender: Stud Male
Colour: Black
Date of birth: 13th July 2018

On 17 May 2002 Redens Chieftain, a double black champion, moved 320 miles north from the stud line up of Redens Alpacas to join us and we’re absolutely delighted and still a bit in shock that we got the chance to offer him a loving home here at Barnacre, thanks Linda and Ron!

Chieftain is the black son of Eringa Park Golden Age and Redens Wialki, meaning he is the brother of Redens Dynamic, the 2022 National Show black champion. Outstanding Australian genetics are on both his sire’s and dam’s side resulting is a well grown true black male with a soft, dense and fine fleece. He is conformationally correct in every way with a similar strong frame to his father. Chieftain had 6 cria at Rendens in 2021 which we have personally reviewed, and they are all very pleasing.

His pedigree reads like a who’s who including names such as Windsong Valley Firedragon, Jolimont Warrior, Jolimont Conquistador, NWA Ltd Ruffo,

Chieftain has a solid show record:

2019 Spring Alpaca Fiesta – Heart Of England Huacaya Junior Male – Black 1st
2019 Spring Alpaca Fiesta – Heart Of England Huacaya Champion Black Male
2019 Eastern Alpaca Group Halter Show Huacaya Intermediate Male – Black 1st
2019/10 Eastern Alpaca Group Halter Show Huacaya Champion Black Male
