Description

Jasper is one of our most successful homebred boys, he is a triple Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion. He is also the sire of Champions and a 2022 Supreme Champion.

His impressive pedigree includes some of the biggest names, and our favourites.

His fleece is dense, uniform in colour and fine. One of his fleeces weighed in at 6.5kg. We recommend him for adding density to any light colour.

Jasper is adopted by Jade Ridey, Libby, “The Grandchildren” and Irene Patterson.

Genetics – his sire, Northumbrian Ida, has a dense white fleece and his grand sire, EPC Top Account of Fowberry is a double champion. His dam, Barnacre Diamanta, is a reliable high quality breeder as is her dam, EP Cambridge Pressure who lives with us. Sandjo High Esteem and Purrumbete Highlander (Aus) in the mix makes for something special here!

Fleece – An outstandingly dense and fine fleece. His 5th has an impressive average micron of 21.2 growing 105mm and yielding an impressive 4.9kg.

Personality – He is gentle, a pleasure to handle and be with.

Colour – Solid white.

Progeny – He has 26 progeny, 25 white and 1 beige including some very nice girls and a couple of young boys that we’re watching with interest. At the 2022 Westmorland County Show Barnacre Dodona was awarded white female Champion and Barnacre Kritios got white male champion and Supreme Champion.
