An amazing genetic pedigree from some of the best known alpacas in the world, a brilliant golden fleece, built like a tank and a double Champion in the show ring – blimey, it must be Barnacre Sandstorm!

Genetics – Jolimont Commisario, Cambridge Buckingham, NWA Ltd Ruffo and EP Peruvian Irraqouy. His dam, EP Cambridge Little Miss Irraquoy has produced 2 other fabulous boys for us available for inspection.

Fleece – 15.3 micron ultrafine first fleece holding a 21.3 micron fine 4th fleece, his standard deviation (variability) is low which is very desirable.

Personality – friendly and proud.

Colour – lovely golden light fawn, beautiful!

A Champion – Fawn Champion at the 2011 Border Union Show and 2012 Westmorland County Show.

With 58 progeny to date, fawn is the most common colour he produces and we find he often improves on the dam, especially for fleece density.

Sandstorm’s show success includes:

  • Champion Fawn Male – 2012 Westmorland County Show
  • 1st Adult Fawn Male – 2012 Westmorland County Show
  • Champion Fawn – 2011 Border Union Show
  • 1st Adult Fawn Male – 2011 Border Union Show
  • 1st Junior Fawn Male – 2010 Border Union Show
