Description
An amazing genetic pedigree from some of the best known alpacas in the world, a brilliant golden fleece, built like a tank and a double Champion in the show ring – blimey, it must be Barnacre Sandstorm!
Genetics – Jolimont Commisario, Cambridge Buckingham, NWA Ltd Ruffo and EP Peruvian Irraqouy. His dam, EP Cambridge Little Miss Irraquoy has produced 2 other fabulous boys for us available for inspection.
Fleece – 15.3 micron ultrafine first fleece held well at 21.8 micron fine for 5th fleece. 12th fleece is now extra strong at 31.9 micron.
Personality – friendly and proud.
Colour – lovely golden light fawn, beautiful!
Show success – Sandstorm is a Double Champion in the show ring: Fawn Champion at 2011 Border Union Show and 2012 Westmorland County Show.
Progeny – 58 to date including Champion and Reserve Champions. Fawn is the most common colour he produces and we find he often improves on the dam’s fleece density.
