Our alpaca walk ‘n’ talks are enjoyable, informative and you will leave with a smile and story to tell!
We will gently walk and talk for at least an hour in the private 110 acre grounds of Barnacre Alpacas at Turpin’s Hill Farm in the fabulous Tyne Valley. During this time you will meet and feed the alpacas with carrot treats provided by us. Everyone gets to walk their own alpaca with a rope and halter. We can’t stop talking alpaca and during your visit we will share some information about their history and personalities as we walk round the farm. Can you believe we know everyone by sight – try and test us if you like! It’s also highly likely we will also meet the sheep, Angora and pygmy goats, chickens, hares, cats and donkeys!
One of our visitors wrote a lovely article about his time with us and you can read it by clicking here.
This is a unique experience that you will never forget and many visitors have described it as one of the best times of their lives. One of our regulars has already been 14 times!!!
At only £30 per person (discounts for adoption and holiday cottage guests) this is a real treat. Payment is in advance although if you don’t need a voucher save a tree and the postage by selecting “click and collect from farm” then tell us the order number when you book.
